It would be classified as revenue to the business .... if he then bought carbon credits then that expense would offset the revenue charged to the customer.

As Joe appears to be so triggered by the charge I will be texting tomorrow morning and offering to send him the amount he was charged for the "carbon credit"

I think that what they are doing is conducting surveys and concluding that many, including some on this board, question the accuracy of their forecasts, notwithstanding the micro climate conditions around the GTA,

Perhaps weather forecasting should be eliminated because of the perception of the unreliability of the same.

The other option would be to gave a more localized forecast eg.

Today within the area of Dundas Street And Lakeshore Boulevard, Bay Street to Parliament Street there could be a 60 - 70 percent chance of 2 - 4 millimeters of rain. West of Bay to Dufferin 3 - 5 millimeters

I wonder how often this happens with competing media

I agree, I used to be involved in helping at festivals and parades and the city advised that we would have to pay a fee to SOCAN to cover royalty fees for the music being paid at the events.

My question is, if the music is freely available through Youtube and social media sites why should I have to pay for the content.

"Here's the list of newspapers that will be shuttered, with the exception of a few more major publications in St. Catharines, Hamilton, Peterborough and elsewhere.

Click on newspapers to see them all."

On that list appears "The Toronto Star"

Unless I am incorrect this newspaper is not under the ownership of Metroland and I am unaware that it will be "shuttered" as the poster alledged.

The federal government has released an outline detailing how it plans on releasing spectrum between 2023 and 2027.

First on its list is the 3800MHz band, with the auction set to begin on October 24th. The federal government announced plans to repurpose the spectrum for 5G in 2021.

This is the government’s third auction focusing on 5G, with the 600MHz band auctioned in 2019 and 3500Mhz auctioned in 2021.

According to a July 28th post detailing applicants, more than 20 companies have applied for the auction, including Vidéotron, Bragg Communications, and City West. The list also includes applications from the Big Three (Rogers, Bell, and Telus).

“When put to good use, spectrum can drive innovation, improve rural connectivity, promote competition and even support efforts to address climate change,” François-Philippe Champagne, the Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, said.

In response to Mace:
Countries by population (millions) and millions of tons of CO2 emissions per capita
China population 1,414, CO2 emissions 10,433, per capita tons 7.38
India population 1,325, CO2 emissions 2534, per capita tons 1.91
USA population 323, CO2 emissions 5,012, per capita tons 15.52
Canada population 36, CO2 emissions 676, per capita tons 18.58
Canada has, 9 times more than India, 2.5 times more than China in the CO2 emissions per capita.
USA has, 7 times more than India, 2 times more than China in the CO2 emissions per capita.
So both India and China are much better than either the USA or Canada in how they control carbon output.

Granted the above are based on 2016 data from Wordometer, the latest data available
