Tim Bolen debuts as the new BT co-host..

Has anyone had other connectivity issues with Fibe TV? Seems I need to reboot my modem regularly do to connection issues.  I'm begining to wonder if it is possible the fibe signal is weakening due to the increase in the number of Fibe customers in my neighbourhood now.  When I signed upwith fibe I wasone of the originals since I was so pissed at Rogers at the time!

Does anyone miss Reshmi???  I sure don't.  She's in over her head in that spot.

Yes, it seems to me that something is up at CP24.  They are likely getting ready for the post Christmas/Bell Let's Talk day purge of staff.  Forcing the staff to use up their vacay days before year's end then they can set them free when the latest purge is carried out.  It is a ruthless business now that the bean counters are in charge and making moves for the sake of the shareholders without regard for quality of the product being offered. 

Seems the overnight show(gram) is also gone from 1010.
Not sure if it is on elsewhere over the Bell Talk Network or has been another victim of the bean counters who now control Bell.
I was hoping they would bring back Jim Richards for the overnight show at the very minimum.
Good luck to Mark Twohey.  He did an admiral job in that time slot leading up to the Provincial election.

For those that may know, Mika Midolo who covered traffic, transit and weather most recently on CP24 was oof for approximately 2 years due to a battle with cancer.
She has fought hard and will now be coming back onto the CP24 breakfast show later this week.

Great news on a personal level for her to have beaten cancer.

Congratulations Mika, you are an inspiration to so many.

What Bell has done, and is doing verges on criminal.

I agree wholeheartedly!
The ruthless cuts have caused increasingly poor quality product for listeners.
The removal of properly qualified and seasoned newscasters/journalists only to be replaced by cheaper, less educated talking heads who regularly make glaring and cringe-worthy errors.
One recent example that irked me was over the past few days on 1010 newscasts where the obviously young and inexperienced  news reader in referring to a story on covid testing changes constantly mis-pronouncing and confused the word "illegible" for rather than what it should have been as "those who are eligible to receive covid testing".  
This is only one of many such embarrassing errors that have occurred. 
What has happened to this industry where the powers that be care so little about the standard of the product they are producing?
The bean counters have, and continue to decimate this once proud and noble industry.

The Newstalk website seems to have removed his name from the show as well.  It is now the "Rush with Jay Michael"s.  
Did Ryan get the Bell for profits chop similar to Bendixen, or has he found another opportunity elsewhere?
Last night on the overnight "Showgram", fill in host Dave Cooper assured listeners that Jim would be back.
So, the suspense continues.
