Another name I don't recall is the CityTV entertainment reporter who left to go work for the LLCBO? This was 25 years ago. She also did some feature work, presenting on The New Music and I think general reporting. Kind of delicate looking. Memorable, to me anyway, due to an interview she did with Ted Nugent. Ted was ... undiplomatic.

Denis also had a 17 year side gig doing a syndicated weekly trucker radio show with Stan Campbell. Depending where broadcast it was called 'Drivers Show' 'American Driver Radio Show' 'The Canadian Driver's Radio Show' finally 'Trucker Radio with Stan Campbell'. He did news and commentary. Stan Campbell and Denis go back 40 years.

It was Campbell (as producer) who got the unknown Shania Twain in the studio for background vocal. I heard Denis on-air tell the story of the two of them duetting on stage at Deerhurst Resort, in probably the summer of 87 or 88.

RA you have given us this information twice before. If the source of opprobrium is Mark Tang, then it's easily attributed to politics and animus.
Attentive listeners can tell if a host is tap dancing thru a segment, and I never got that impression with Jivani. I heard a thoughtful person.
So what does 'show-prep' mean here. Topic background? Promo announcing? Timing?
