The former City TV reporter became the face of CPAC, the Parliamentary channel on cable. But due to cutbacks, he was let go, ending his long running show on the network.
Now you'll be seeing him again - he's joined CTV's Ottawa Bureau as a National Correspondent.
Here's what he wrote on LinkedIn:
"My thanks to Graham Richardson and Richard Gray for giving me this opportunity, and for believing that I can make a meaningful contribution to the network's political coverage.
CTV News is where I began my career as a writer and producer. The network's Ottawa Bureau is where I got my first exposure to covering politics. And CTV British Columbia is where I started my reporting career."

I'm guessing this decision came after they cut Serapio and his show. It would appear he ended up better off on a network with far more viewers.

Saw Michael Serapio for the first time on CTV News at noon on Monday. He was welcomed to CTV by anchor Andria Case. Good for Michael. Seems like a decent guy who got a raw deal but landed on his feet.
