Edgy? What the duck is edgy?  As a listener I want dialogue with conviction, forthright opinions, no 'couching' of words - hey even some yelling.  I also want facts as best as can be ascertained ie. more than 2 different sources so the 'shock jock' should be well-read or informed.  I listened to a great podcast by 2 profound thinkers and word-smiths - Jordan B Peterson with Rex Murphy - both lamenting the degradation of Canadian society (and western society in general).  This is evidenced with the daily pablum on Canadian 'big' radio - no real call for our freedoms or liberties against our politicians demands...too many 'frady-cats

Poor Oakley is tip-toeing - almost neutered in this environment - hell his knuckles must still be hurting after the 'Conrad' incident, and Steyn is too racy I guess

Didn't care for SD - she wasn't a talk-show host.  She was a wealth of knowledge of 'getting into the political weeds'.  I do miss that - no Taylor Parnaby to give me the facts and then break it down.  Oh well, GNR640 is somewhat rudderless as evidenced by letting Conrad Black go because of his completely truthful statement that Canada is NOT a systemically racist country - despite what the woke-folk (640 managers) 'feel'

Zero chemistry with current morning show - both of them have a 'tuff' time talking casually - MG puts this annoying emPHASis on the syLLABLES that gets tiresome.  Spaghetti just doesn't have 'it'.  

Staffy has IT, HP is the best as the on-the-spot youngin' reporter that can explain that 19-35 cultural mystery demo (despite me having 2 of them at home)
