Rogers has a history of projects, advertised mostly on their radio stations, with marketing names that don't transfer to audio. They used to have a real estate site called "zoocasa.com" which, given how we mostly know this phrase, "mi casa es su casa", is a bit of an issue. Although probably 20 years ago, CORUS had an online product selling platform called "frisbee" or something like that but with a silent "Q" and an accent aigu.  
 

I bet this was in the works locally before the Bell announcement. Bell execs would not have communicated that they were selling 40+ stations to local management until the morning of. Blame the PD/GM if such a thing exists in the Ottawa cluster.

This isn't unique for CORUS. Willy on Rock 101 Vancouver did Q107 Calgary mornings for a  number of years. My understanding is that they would jump from personality to personality in different Vancouver studios delivering bits to Calgary one or two breaks ahead, but kind of in real time. That sounds like lots of work.

Have to jump in on this one. I found K-ROCK (VOCMFM) scanning Tune In one Saturday night looking for a show to replace Bachman on the CBC. Big Tom's Shed, featuring J-LaC is the best Saturday Night "party show" I've ever heard. Whether or not the calls from drunk or stoned Newfoundlanders are real, J-Lac does a great job of weaving together Rock of the ages with the partiers on the Rock. The reason I bring this up is that they run morning  show promos through Big Tom's Shed and the promos are actually funny. I'll never be up early enough to hear a show, but I love the idea of it.

That’s absolutely awful. I believe he’s a new dad as well. I don’t know him and I won’t send thoughts  and prayers as that’s rubbish , but I’ll throw $20 to https://www.llscanada.org/ unless someone  has a better administrative group suggestion.
