That CHUM contest had people everywhere answering their phones that way. When it ran, I was a teenager in a rural Niagara Peninsula community, hardly the core market. But whenever you called someone the same age, it was common to hear, "I listen to CHUM." However, I don't recall anyone in my burg winning anything.

The thing that set my dad off the most about Holmes was that he would go into a house to fix some renovation disaster and tear everything out, toss it and buy all new materials. My father was the original recycler and he always complained Holmes could have reused a lot of the materials, such as the lumber, and saved the homeowner a pile of money.
 

I must shed my Lurker guise for this one. When you look up doofus in the dictionary, you'll find Warmington's picture, complete with goofy hat. His ramblings are not those of someone with a working brain. That has more to do with why he can't get on a real radio station.

Really? Aside from the media, Kyle Dubas and the Maple Leafs found out the way everyone did - on Twitter. Even before the media cutbacks no one was monitoring police reports in Scottsdale every day. The only people who screwed up here were Matthews, his agent, his lawyer and his equally graceless father.

Compare what you pay for streaming services to what you pay or used to pay for cable or satellite service. Before I cut the cord, I was paying about $125 per month for the satellite portion of my $300 bill. Internet and a landline plus long-distance package made up the rest. Yep, the CRTC lets Bell and Rogers gouge us. But I digress.
Now I have a Roku and three streaming services. I pay about $160 per year in total for Netflix, Acorn and Britbox (my wife and I love British mysteries). So even if I add a much more expensive sports package I'm still paying way less per month.

Right, betaylored, ever since McCown started mailing it in, as the OverDrive boys say, their TSN show is the go-to one for the drive home. Yes, Brunt is back to bring some semblance of interest to Prime Time but now I'm in the TSN habit.
