Radio host has stormy denial about Stormy Daniels

Almost every single radio host I heard today had a witty thing or three to say about Trump and his adult movie star. From Robert Turner's delight in the magazine spanking details, to...well, I'm sure you heard a lot of them too. My choice for runner up as best/worst was during 1010's afternoon show when newsbrain Dave M played an excerpt from the Anderson Cooper interview with Stormy Daniels, and instead of the actual interview, listeners heard moans and sighs. Obvious, yet still funny. However, the winner IMHO was 1010's sister station, TSN1050, and the one liner, perfectly delivered by one of OverDrive's (their afternoon show) cohosts, one Jeff O'Neill, who said, "I am not familiar with her work." his tone considered and thoughtful, as if Stormy Daniels was a Booker Prize author whose work he had yet to peruse. I am hopeful that in the "coming days" our radio hosts can report back to listeners on any increases in Stormy 's sales, further escapades, and stuff like that (to borrow Stafford's favorite expression.)

The really funny thing about O'Neill's reply is regular listeners know he often mentions his, um, familiarity with porn stars. So this dismissal is coming from an auteur.

I think that's why I found it so damn funny LongTimeLurker... Jeff is, to use an old-fashioned term, an absolute hoot to listen to... they all are, the OverDrive trio of O'Neill, Noodles, and Bryan Hayes are loosey goosey relaxed, and miles away from the more formal Sportsnet afternoon show.

The TSN OverDrive production team does a great job with Twitter, offering links to the show, in hourly segments.

The boys also get my vote as the best announcers of the god-will-this-never-end wretched My Pillow live promos. Each and every time they man up, gut it out, and read the copy like the "200 foot" broadcasters they are.

Right, betaylored, ever since McCown started mailing it in, as the OverDrive boys say, their TSN show is the go-to one for the drive home. Yes, Brunt is back to bring some semblance of interest to Prime Time but now I'm in the TSN habit.

It cannot be disputed...if satire and fraternity humour delivered by a guy in his 50s is what you want from an All Sports Drive Home show;  McCown and Brunt cannot compete!
