This was generated entirely by A.I. Whatever you think of the Epstein story, this is quite remarkable. Wow.

America's media is failing in its responsibilities...

"This isn’t the first time I’ve raised this alarm, and won’t be the last. I know I am hardly alone, and can see you nodding in sad agreement as you read these furious words, but every now and then I need to take a breath and scream out loud that THIS IS NOT HOW JOURNALISM IS SUPPOSED TO WORK, DAMMIT."

Re: Is Today's News From Washington A Sign of Darker Times Ahead

We have to remember that cognitive dissonance is a real thing - the longer someone has been fooled by a con, the more difficult it is to admit to yourself that you've been played for a sucker. It's only when the pain has become so unbearable, that they have no choice but to admit they were wrong.

Earlier this year during a TVO special, Margaret Atwood was asked what it would take for MAGA to give up their blind loyalty to their cult leader and she said she doesn't think it's a question of making them understand, "Fuck Around and Find Out" is her solution:

"People often don't believe things unless they are personally and directly impacted by them. There is no climate change until the hurricane wipes out your town, Trump is amazing until everybody in town loses their job. The job of the media is to just track what is happening. It would be a fallacy to believe that everything that Trump does is bad, we don't know yet what he's going to do and we don't know how it's going to work out. It's a question of what the things he does with his power are net positive or net negative."

If you have the time, I recommend that you watch the TVO episode here on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hij5MbcICm4
Margaret Atwood: Democracy Under Her Eye

Whether your politics lean left or right, going too far to the extreme on either side will lead to tyranny. Your best option is to stay near the center: center-left or center-right, avoiding the chaos that comes at the extremes of political viewpoints.

Atwood: "Once you get enough chaos, people will vote for a strong man because he will say, only I can fix it, or I can make the trains run on time." And the people will say, let him give it a go, "and there's then a path all the way up to the top to Tyranny from there, which is why extremes on the right and the left are always trying to create more chaos. Because the worst things are, the more likely their shot is at getting control of the whole she-bang."

And Trump has often been called a chaos agent by the news, because that's exactly what he likes to do.
I don't think it's going to work this time though, all of his latest chaotic distractions haven't moved the needle from his own MAGA supporters wanting to know who is in the Epstein files. When you promise to expose the seedy pedophile ring and that's why the right-wing conspiracy nutjobs voted for you and you don't deliver...

Here are some people who are learning Atwood's lesson about FAFO:

Once you've lost Roseanne Barr... you've lost the farm.

The more Trump grows the target on his back, the higher the likelihood of somebody aiming at it.

Re: South Park.
Now that’s funny.  Colbert and Stewart and likely all the others yelling eff you?  Not so much.  I’d say Paramount-Me chose wisely in dumping Colbert and backing up the Brinks truck to Parker and Stone.

Have you heard what your hero screams to and about people for the last 10 years?

When you lose the absolute craziest person that once supported you...

Donald Trump has lost one of his most loyal supporters. The QAnon Shaman and also a January 6ther, exposed Trump as a fraud to his followers.

“F*ck this stupid piece of sh*t. What a fraud,” he replied to a post of Trump’s mug shot in a now deleted tweet viewed by thousands.

In a long tweet the Shaman also mentioned that the Trump administration have threatened his life and they’re actively phone tapping him. He claims this happened because they refused to cooperate with the Trump administration and exposed its alleged loyalty to Israel over America.

He also revealed that Donald Trump had sex with a corpse in order to receive billions of dollars.

I'm not even sure if that last line is a joke or true... this is Trump we're talking about after all...  maybe it was the corpse of a 15-year old girl.
