This might be cost effective but it's no longer City TV.

 
Aytononline, the Citytv brand was pretty much killed by Rogers when then bought the station. They axed most of the original programming like Speakers Corner etc., fired staff like crazy, including on-air talent, and killed the vibrant environment that once made the channel what it was. Remaining staff were in constant fear of being fired and it became a pretty crappy place to work. I was laid off and hired back in weeks, guess they were short staffed, which was good for me at the time. Hated working for Rogers though, they didn’t really “get” TV, just liked the idea of being a player I think. They’re rumoured to be looking for a buyer for the station, good luck in this day and age!

It amounts to the same thing.

Maybe the BT set will be at 333 for proximity to CHFI, while the news operation will be at OMP

After the move to Yonge and Dundas. The set for BT was on the ground floor.  Eventually they moved up to one of the floors.  Unsure why they decided to relocate out of ground floor.

With Rogers consolidating operations at the Rogers Building I'm wondering what recollections people have of other Rogers addresses? I recall CFTR/CHFI (and I think Rogers Cable) were at 25 Adelaide for years, moving there after a fire at 13 Adelaide. Rogers Cable also had a building on York Mills where I believe Cable 10 had a studio.

Go back far enough and CFTR was @ 17 Victoria street.

Having watched part of their 6 PM newscast, the set looks pretty much the same to me.

Although to be honest, I rarely watch CityNews so there may be changes I would not have been aware of. 

I just heard that Dina Pugliese is now back on Breakfast Television.
