I saw this in today's Star but it happens on TV and radio all the time:

"Fam­ily seeks answers in alleged hit­ and­ run"

There is no alleged hit and run. Someone hit a car full of people and left the scene. That is a fact. What did happen is that someone was charged. He is alleged to have been the culprit until a court finds him guilty. Why do reporters insist a crime may have been committed when it is a person who has been alleged to have committed the crime?

Someone mentioned Video Killed The Radio Star. I love that song! I could listen to it 5 times in a row. Not only is the tune catchy but it a seminal song of the era.

I liked his style and enjoyed listening to him. He will be missed.

He had a good run. He seems like a decent guy.

In my "old age", I'm not very political but here are my two cents.

If the CPC is running an ad with 2 old white golfers and another with former PM Harper then they are in trouble. That's marketing to your base and not going after swing voters. 

I will say a very substantial Liberal majority though my heart is with the NDP.

I'll be flipping around the channels and looking at results on the Elections Canada website.
