With the demise of CHML, Hamilton's CFL team was looking for a new broadcast home. And it appears they've found one.
The games will now air on Y108 during the regular season, with affiliates on CKGL Kitchener and CJOY in Guelph (while that latter station lasts.)
No immediate word on whether Sauga960, which had picked up the rights to the team a few years ago, will continue airing them as well.

The Hamilton Spectator looks at how quickly this came about. CHML signed off on a Thursday, just one day before the Ticats were scheduled to play. Zamperin scrambled to get back on air - even if it was on the Internet. Incredibly, he got it done in just over 24 hours, despite having no equipment and no setup.
"In that brief window, he conscripted his two tech-savvy kids to help launch a YouTube channel figure out where to set up, work on camera angles, create some imaging, do a bunch of test runs, send out some social media messages saying what he was up to, and a bunch of other stuff.
Sure enough, when the game ended, there he was. Sitting in his basement in a makeshift studio running a show. No, it wasn’t quite the same as before. All the comments came from texts and emails and chat room entries since he hadn’t figured out how to take calls. But he was there."
Pretty amazing.
When CHML died, it looked like the Ticats’ postgame show would, too. But its longtime host is keeping it alive

Being an Argo fan, I would be quite happy if the Tigercat Grey Cup drought lasted another 25+ years.
