One Step Beyond (1959-61)
I never heard of this series until a few months ago. Similar to The Twilight Zone and Hitchcock Presents. I have been binging it on tubi over the past few weeks and enjoying it.

May I also suggest you become familiar with another vintage tv show called The Outer Limits if you're not already.

One Step Beyond was one of the first series WUTV carried when they signed on in December 1970.

Don't forget Rod Serling's other series Night Gallery which ran on NBC from December 1970-May 1973.

Interesting - One Step Beyond has the strange distinction of introducing the magic mushroom to the American public - including the host taking the substance and recording his observations for the audience.
