Who do they want to play? Win on Sunday, they play TB. Lose, coupled with a Houston win, it's off to Minnesota.

Minnesota it is! Nice that the Jays still had a celebration today after the game with Tampa. Loved the moments in the dressing room that started off fairly calm...but then the tunes came on and then we had a nightclub with pulsing lights and music, and of course champagne all over the place.
Hazel Mae did a great job, interviewing players and keeping the balance between fun and talking about the past season and what's coming up starting Tuesday. And doing all of this while soaked and in a very loud room. Good job Hazel!
Best part was when the players left the dressing room and move back on the field, bathed in beer and champagne. Jays players with family, friends, kids, grounds crew and Jays staff. Nice touch, it was sort of like watching a big family get together. All the kids knew "uncle Vladdy".
Good on SportsNet showing this for about 30 minutes with great shots and commentary.
Good luck Jays!

Dan Shulman announced during the game that all Jays’ playoff games this year would be produced by Sportsnet, featuring him, Buck and Hazel. In previous years those games were produced by US networks and rebroadcast in Canada.

Congratulations Blue Jays!! Gotta love Hazel! She always does a great job.

Because Toronto does not show up in the U.S. Neilsen ratings, the Blue Jays will not appear in any prime time telecasts, unless the team goes really deep into the playoff rounds.

Someone needs to explain to John Moore the difference between "3 for 3" and "3 and 3" : )) .. He's been too optomistic about the Jays vs the Twins based on this misunderstanding he's made several times this morning.
The Toronto Blue Jays have a 3-3 record versus the Twins this season.

The Jays/Twins games will have a first pitch of 4:38pm for all games. Winner will meet Houston in the next round which is best of five.

On Saturday FOX's regional MLB coverage had 1.13 million viewers. Sportsnet could have had more viewers for the Jays games on the weekend. I know more networks cover baseball in the US than just FOX but it is still worth noting.
Maybe Sportsnet will release some numbers from the past week. Dan Shulman said yesterday that the ratings have been up for the broadcasts this year.

The majority of the U.S. were beamed the AL game between Texas and Seattle. Zero interest in NY, LA or Chicago because the games outcome had no effect on those cities teams. Plus baseball never does well against College Football.
