C'mon, cut James some slack. The "men's" in that sentence is understood/implied.

oh for crying out loud .. some seem to go looking for reasons to be outraged ..
Henderson's summit series winning goal ..
Orr's "sailing thru the air" cup winning goal in 1968 ..
Sid & his Golden Goal ..
Mario's Canada Cup winning goal ..
none have to be clarified as candidates for greatest goals of "men's" hockey .. it's understood.
people really need to chill.

I think it was Kevin Kilbain who said Ghana was his dark horse choice in the World Cup.

No offense but you don't know what you're talking about.
If a women's team beat the Russians 19 years before the men ever did, you would need to specify. Our women's soccer team played in the bronze medal game of the World Cup in 2003 and have played in the tournament SEVEN TIMES since the men's team last made the tournament. The men's team has scored one goal in its entire history in the World Cup. The women have scored 34. All of the biggest moments in Canadian soccer history have involved the women's team. It's a fact.

*chuckles* I do & I'm able to put the game we were watching & comment in the context in which it was made .. kind of like walking & chewing gum at the same time.

34 to 1.
That's context.
