The Song Banned On Newstalk's Moore In The Morning
Just found this song, totally by accident. The 80's cover version is loathed with the fire of a thousand suns by a certain morning show radio host, but I don't think it's common knowledge that it was from the 60's. And the original version is damn good. Bumper worthy even. ;)

The singer of the original is Gloria Jones and she was with T- Rex as background singer and keyboardist in the 70's. Also Marc Bolan's Romantic partner.

Unfortunately yes as she was the driver of the car in 1977 which took Bolan's life.

When I first saw the banner for this post I thought it has to be Tainted Love or Seasons In The Sun. I also had never heard the 1965 original which was the B side of My Bad Boy's Comin Home. It didn't even make the Billboard Bubbling Under chart.

Watch 'their' son give a heartfelt message during the celebration of T-Rex's induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Marc was a superstar.
