wow, one of the voices we (well, some of us here on the big yellow board) grew up with, and more than likely even tried to emulate when we first started doing voice work for spots and were finding our own sound, ladies and gentlemen, the one and only Ernie Anderson, and check out what he's doing in the middle of a read!

A great voice! Ernie also did the first three seasons of the originally aired promotional spots for "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (before Don LaFontaine took over from season 4 forward).

Re: Legendary Voiceover Blast From the Past

Of course, Anderson first left his mark as the legendary Cleveland creature feature host, Ghoulardi

And here, through the magic of television, is Ernie Anderson interviewing Ghoulardi

Re: Legendary Voiceover Blast From the Past

Watching all these Ghoulardi videos, brought back some local childhood tv viewing memories. Does anyone remember ch 7's Fright Night Theatre? It ran on WKBW Friday nights at 11:30 usually featuring B grade 1950's horror films or 1930's classics like The Mummy, Wolfman etc.  I seem to remember one time at the end of Eyewitness News, Irv Weinstein encouraging viewers to stay tuned for tonight's feature film... The Bride of Frankenstein starring Tom Jolls mother! I think the series ran from 1963 to 1969.
