    CBC Documentary Channel

    My TV provider, Execulink Telecom, sent me an email yesterday,
    "We're writing to inform you that as of September 1, 2026, Documentary channel will no longer be available in the market at the discretion of the content provider."

    Anyone else get a simular message from their provider?

    It's offiical. As of Sept. 1st, the Documentary Channel is no more. The licence was revoked at the owners' request.

    It's now supposed to turn up online and on CBC Gem, so while it's not on cable anymore, it still exists elsewhere. 

    Including YouTube.
