Wow. That's too bad. I was cheering for Buffalo. I guess now Buffalo is off to the golf course, perhaps challenging the Leafs to a game?
Congrats on your win Habs! Now go get that cup!

The series is not over. There is still a Game 4 to come in Montreal on Tuesday.

Montreal fans sure know how to put on a show. I was wondering how come there were so many Canadiens fans at the games in Buffalo? There seemed to be a lot of Habs jerseys and supporters at the first two games in the series at Buffalo. Surprising how much cheering when Montreal scored.

I'm reading. It says "Habs win" so they won. Good for them.

When the game was over I was extatic that the Bell Centre sounded like a morgue.

Habs up 3-2.
Still doesn't change the fact that I loath and despise this professional sports franchise more than any other on this planet. Although the Hamilton Tiger Cats are a very close second.

Saturday's game will be super charged! Why were there so many Montreal fans in Buffalo? Like I mentioned before, very surprising at the amount of cheering when the Canadiens scored and the number of people wearing the Montreal jersey. Were most of these Habs supporters from Montreal or just across the border?

Mega bus offered a flat rate deal (including tax) of $100 each way to go from Montreal to Buffalo NY and back, but for game tickets, Montrealers are on their own...

I'm not too excited.
Carolina is going to win the cup, no doubt.

Colorado might have a different opinion. but I think Carolina will buzzsaw through either Buffalo or Montreal. Interesting Stanley Cup historical fact. No team has ever won four consecutive game seven's to win the Stanley Cup. Two teams have won three. In 2011 Boston did it in 2011 going the distance in Round One, Two and the Final vs Vancouver. In 2014, LA won in Round One, Two and the Conference Final. They disposed of NYR in the Final in five games.

Well done Cash! Now go buy a lottery ticket!
I'm still under the impression that Carolina is going to win the cup though.
No shortage of Montreal fans in Ottawa.
Many of my friends in Ottawa are hoping that I am wrong, as they are so angry that Carolina wiped out Ottawa earlier on...

Curious, why? That's a strong position.

I am a Leaf fan but don't dislike Montreal. I respect the Canadiens history and the fact they have built up a solid team. The Buffalo/Habs series was great with two young evenly matched teams. I don't know how much further Montreal will go but the team has given their fans super hockey and something to cheer for. They are also great for the TV ratings in Canada, with Buffalo/Montreal pulling in over 4 million viewers per game.
As far as the Leafs go, I will support them and always have but how could you not be disappointed. Nobody expects much from them and that is sad. It is very apparent that they should have kept Mitch Marner. Auston Matthews should be bounced. Too expensive, always getting hurt and not performing well without Marner feeding him the puck. Leaf Nation's prospects for next year right now are not very good IMO.

Goes back to when I was a Leaf fan as a kid. As an Argo fan, I have the same attitude towards the Hamilton Tiger Cats. I will give the Habs organization credit. They do know how to put on a show in the way they recognize their pre 1993 glorious past. However, I am very pleased that their obnoxious, arrogant fanbase has been silenced for another season.

If Carolina can limit the number of shots on goal by Vegas in the same way they limited Montreal, then yes this will be a very short series.
