Nothing has been proven in court yet, but talking about bursting your Bubbles.

Sadly not the first time Mike Smith has allegedly assaulted someone, you have to wonder about this guy since it’s the second time. Too bad as he’s done well with his show.

Not to besmirch the integrity of the alleged victim, there is the possibility it is a money thing. Time will tell.

I guess I just lack the gene that makes people love Trailer Park Boys.
I tried to watch it, but I found it so unfunny and frankly revolting.
I especially hated Smith's character Bubbles.
I could not fathom what attracted people to such a nothing character, let alone repulsive.
But then again I hate a whole slew of supposedly brilliant Canadian TV shows.
Among them, Red Green, and most of The Kids In the Hall.
SCTV, on the other hand..brilliant.

I never got the supposed humour of Trailer Park Boys. But then I also found Seinfeld totally unfunny as well.

That's too bad.
Mr. Smith is also good with music.
I like his (older) music, at least one song from 1995:

And here I thought that I was the only one.

I loved Seinfeld, but have never seen a single episode of Trailer Park Boys. The subject just doesn't interest me. I tried to watch Schitt's Creek, which won a record nine Emmys in 2020. But I was done after two episodes. It just didn't make me laugh. It just shows how subjective comedy can be.

"Schitt's Creek" was, for me, a slow burn. It took most of season one to hit its stride.

I've heard that before. I guess I just didn't have the patience to wait.
Online!

So how long before the entire TPB franchise gets removed from all linear and streaming media and store shelves because of this ALLEGED incident?

I can't think of one Canadian sitcom that I found funny. The promotional clips didn't make me chuckle, so Why would I sit through an entire episode. To be fair, what the U.S. networks are passing off as sitcoms isn't any better. I watched an episode of the new CBS series DMV. I didn't like any of the characters and it simply wasn't the least bit funny.

Kim's Convenience was hilarious, I thought.

totally agree .. "Kim's Convenience" is very, very good. the family dynamic, the cultural dynamic, the age dynamic are blended well. Mrs. Kim's 'sneak attacks' are precious : )) ..
we saw the "Kim's Convenience" play at the soulpepper theatre; it has a darker edge .. i prefer the TV series.
