1270 AM Now Officially "The Patriot" Doing Conservative Talk
It's official - 1270 AM, WUSW, is now all ultra-conservative talk. I, for one, will miss being able to hear WECK over-the-air with a semi-decent signal, although it's still available online. This station may make some sense for the Buffalo market, which after all is really all that counts, but to me, it's a real loss and a waste of a frequency.
They really WECK-ed the place!

I thought I was the only person that would like to have joked that the calls stood for WRECK, but misspelled 
. I felt that way back when WECK reduced the 70s and early 80s spins on the station though. I suppose the new format on 1270 will "trump" oldies though

1270 barely moved the needle when it doing the same stuff as Talk 1270.
All they did was swap out some conservative talkers for OTHER conservative talkers(albeit better known ones).
Do you really THINK ratings are going to improve?

Curious. So the MAGA degenerates at WBEN are about to have their hundreds of MAGA degenerate listeners drawn away by other MAGA degenerates at the competing outfit.
