Not the King of overdubbing! Sad news.

Oh yes and I'm so sick of Beethoven.
5th symphony, 9th symphony, Fur Elise.
Puleese, no more.
As for Mozart and Bach, geez, don't get me started.
If I have to hear Bach's toccata and fugue in D minor one more time!
Heldenleuben by Strauss... aaarcgggh!

All of the above are why I really enjoy Sirius XM. Just over the last two days or so I have heard:
On Deep Tracks:
Yes Covering The Byrds I See You
The Beach Boys Cool Cool Water
Nick Lowe and Nick Drake
Former Moby Grape and Airplane madman Skip Spence from his cult classic album OAR
On 60's Gold:
Tomorrow by the Strawberry Alarm Clock
On Underground Garage
SF Sorrow by the Pretty Things
MC5
The Remains
A single by the Marvelettes that I don't remember hearing before but which charted at number 69 in 67
and I'm sure they have played the Strawberry Alarm Clocks near hit Barefoot in Baltimore.

One correction to the above I just googled the Marveletttes single I heard, it was "Danger Heartbreak Ahead" and it charted at number 61 in 1965.

Actually, I have come to the conclusion that WNED-FM has the collection of the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, and are contractually bound to playing from that catalogue. If you want a diverse selection, I advise the 9 to 3 block of Nesrallah and Allen on CBC Music. (94.1 down my way.)

Deep Tracks is one of my faves too but a lot of the other channels' playlists can be just as shallow as terrestrial. I'll hear a song I haven't heard in forty years and think, "Wow, why isn't terrestrial playing that?"; then I hear that same song four more times that week and the magic of it is gone.

Does 96.3 have a wider playlist? I am certainly no authority on Classical Music. I recognize a few selections but it is mostly relaxing soothing white noise to me, with the exception of Opera. That is nails on a blackboard to me.

96.3 is 'classical as a last resort' station. Too many chatty announcers, too many ads. I don't listen enough to rate how diverse a playlist they have.

for music I listen mostly to Deep Tracks, Underground Garage and 60's Gold and they are worth the price of admission for me. Don't need anything else save for a foray into the news channels at this rather shaky juncture.

What's worse than overplayed classic rock? Overplayed classic rock Canadian content!
There's a certain Niagara Peninsula FM station that gets by with Trooper and Gino Vannelli albums interspersed with overplayed US clunkers. Little Stevie Winwood was cutting his teeth with Traffic and Blind Faith long before the drivel of overplayed solo work. Fleetwood Mac was far superior as a blues group before the saccharine dreck of 'Rumours' and later.
And I am only one mug of coffee into the morning...😁
Mr Amussed don't forget that Little Stevie was really little when he sang lead for the Spencer Davis Group.
As far as Fleetwood Mac I prefer the pre Buckingham/Nicks eras but Lindsay Buckingham is a talent. My favorite era for the group is the post blues one where Danny Kirwan came into his own and they added Bob Welch. The Peter Green led blues period did have some highlights such as Oh Well, Black Magic Woman and Albatross but there's some good tunes from the Buckingham Nicks era as well, but back to Danny Kirwan and Bob Welch:
