Premier Ford will make an appearance on The Sunday Money Show with host Alan Small on Sunday January 19th, just a day before the inauguration of Donald Trump. The topic will of course be the threatened Trump tariffs.
It's interesting to note that The Sunday Money Show is a long time paid hour of programming on 1010 & I'm guessing this is the first time such a prominent guest has agreed to make an appearance. But good on Premier Ford. He continues to lead the way on this side of the border & look for any and every avenue to chat up Canadians.
I assume the conversation will be prerecorded but I do not know that for certain.
Sunday at 2 p.m. on 1010

Rob ford was a bad maior, but he was good on the radio and a good speaker.
Chow has to paus before she speaks.
How was I being a racist?
Both Ford and Chow are bad maiors.
I wanted mark sonders to be our maior.

As bad as Rob was for our maior, he was good on the radio.
I miss both his show and tarik fata's shows on newstalk 1010.

Is there not a requirement that CFRB give the other party leaders equal time?

I hope they do.
I also hope their good at speaking on the radio.
One thing I like about Dug is that he wants Canada to be Its own country.
By election time, I think there will be payd programming on the talkers.

Maybe during an election. Party leaders are often asked to be guests on talk shows. Most seem too busy to take the time.

Lets hope the parties make their voices heard on the radio stations.
We know that dug will.
But, I also want to hear what the others have to say, even if their not good on the radio like our mayor.

Nothing surprising in the least. Politics is complicated. What do you expect to happen when a populist conservative nationalist from one jurisdiction is pitted, or wants to be seen as pitted, against a populist conservative nationalist from another jurisdiction? Furthermore, how do you know, with certainty, whether publicly presented personas are true or not, or nuanced? Politicians (like all people from all spheres of life) aren't always exactly what they seem to be, or present as. Same goes for talk show hosts. Perhaps Big Yellow is better suited to discussing broadcasting/media rather than politics...

Oh he is buddies with Trump, but smart enough to draw a line somewhere...

Radiowiz - I think you are 100% wrong. Doug Ford has mentioned a number of times that he's never met Trump.

I knew that they were not buddys.
Its a good thing.
I hope he makes canada proud again.
There's a lot that makes us different, from the culture on the east coast to most of our immigrants speaking Hindi, Tamil, Arabic, Bengali or Urdu to our healthcair system.
