For RA who often laments the accuracy of weather forecasts.
Carl Lam on 680 at just after 2 pm NYD.
Talking about how the mild weather we've had will be disappearing.
"We won't be seeing the double-digit temperatures we had last... uh... week...uh earl;ier this week....uh, I don't really remember when it was..."
There's one Lam that should have stayed silent.

Lam is usually one of the better meteorologists. I'm going to assume he had a bad day or a brain cramp.
My real pet peeve is that some of them will predict a nice day - "Sunny with a high of 25!" - the night before. The next day comes and it winds up being cloudy and it only gets to 16.
And they never admit they were wrong or tell you why the good weather didn't come. Instead it's like they never made the prediction in the first place. At least explain to the viewer what happened. "A front from the south came a little farther north than the models suggested, so we didn't get the day we hoped for."
That, at least, would explain it. Instead, it's like their previous prediction never happened. Wish I had a job where I could make all the mistakes I wanted and no one ever called me on it.

Many weather presenters use the jet stream to hedge their bets. If the jet stream moves in this direction we can expect "X" amounts of this type of precipitation. However, if the jet stream moves in that direction, "Y" amounts of that precipitation will most likely fall.
