Like they do every Christmas, CTV News had an 8 minute crawl of credits last night for the CTV National News and CTV News Channel. Basically thanking their staff for their work over the past year. They also featured a lot of group and individual photos of people from various departments. Since the credits were in groups of 10 it was easy to count the staff numbers.
I was surprised that 940 names were listed. I believe they will also run this again near the end of the year.

CFTO did the same thing on their 6pm newscast.

WIVB in Buffalo did theirs on Christmas Eve.
NBC Nightly News ran a 7-minute-plus credit roll on Wednesday, along with shots of staffers. It's the one chance to get their work publicly credited for the year. It is astonishing how many producers, researchers and behind-the-scenes people they employ. If you're curious, you can see it here. The credits start at 13:19.
We used to run what we called "long credits" every Friday, time permitting. It was done live, so the graphics operator had to time it properly and it was a slightly different time allowance every single week if the show went long. I once asked him how he did it. He told me he knew he had to be at a certain name by the 1-minute-to-black mark. If not, he slowed or sped up the names. If I recall correctly, in ten years, he never messed it up.
