So, this will show my young age for a broadcasting forum, but these are the songs I miss hearing on southern ontario radio and That don't play as often or at all any more.
Amy sky's songs like I will take care of you and if my heart had wings.
the last time I've heard these songs on a radio station was 2014 on the jewel's the lounge program.
S club 7's never had a dream.
The last time I've heard that song was back in 2006 with out knowing what the song was called but liking it.
What about you guys, What are some songs that you want to hear again on a southern ontario radio station?

I sometimes listen to the Classic AT40 episodes that run Sunday mornings on WHTT Buffalo. Yes there are songs that are no longer played because they stiffed in the mid 20's. When you get to the top 10 there are at least two or three that haven't been played in years. Perhaps they no longer test well.

Back in the early 90's Mix 999 used to have a feature called
"In search of the lost classic", where a lost classic was played once every couple of hours, (or maybe less?)
Songs that never really seem to get any radio play anymore.
One song that really stood out in my mind the best was from the 70's.
On the radio, I'd love to hear Dave Edmund's song I hear you knocking. (but you can't come in)
However, if there could be a Mix today, then I don't really blame them for being in search of lost classics from only 20 years ago, since it was 20 years ago from the early 90's that that song was originally released.
It would be interesting if Boom 97.3 could do something like this, perhaps with their "lost" 90's classics?
It's more than 20 years ago, but it fits the format...

Oh! 99.9 mix fm.
Brings back memories for me.
Iheart should bring the mix fm format in some way, as a stream or an hd radio subchannel on chum fm or as a format change for chum fm.
I'm young, but the soungs now don't bring back the same feelings as the songs from the 90s and 00s.
Back then, and now, I love what's called soft ac/easy listening music and adault top 40 music.

Back in the early 70's me and my young up and coming radio cronies would sit up late to listen to Bob Dearborn on WCFL . He had a feature called "Long Gold" whereby he would play the extended version of a song . (In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida .. Pappa Was a Rolling Stone..etc. ) . It was a great feature then. Would love to see (hear ) it revived !
