Parrot TV

I signed up to be an "insider" with the new streaming service from CHCH.  It claims to be free, but beyond some CHCH programming, I don't anything different from other FAST options like ROKU, Pluto, Plex, or Tubi. There maybe more, but it seems like a crowded place already.

Anyone know the launch date?

never worked ever, in radio

Re: Parrot TV

I tend to agree.... but it will come in time..     There needs to be an acceptance that some do better than others, and you may need to join forces.    Iheartradio is a great example.   Took may years to long, but as of late, you are seeing non-bell stations moving over.    The market has accepted iheartradio vs radioplayer,   Corus, Stingray, Evanov and others have noticed, finally accepted and moved onto the platform.    I think the same will happen with the video streamers.   Amazon and Pluto are much more market accepted.  Going alone is not always best if the audience is not with you.  You need to be where the audience is living. It's why you see the weather network, cbc etc. on all services currently in some capacity.    If you are OTA tv, you should be on FAST based streaming to not be forgotten.   Most cable cutters don't even know OTA exists.

Very true. When I tell friends about Antenna/Cozi/MeTV I get blank stares. When I explain the type of programming offered. an extremely positive response is forthcoming. When I also explain that streaming is not an option and an outdoor antenna is required, positive becomes disappointment.
