The Nielsens are out for the Queen City and it's more of the same. WYRK, the country station that's now blocked in Toronto by another local station (Elmnt FM at 106.5) was back on top in the fall (Aug.-Oct.) ratings, a place it often occupies.
It was followed by WBLK and WGRF. Two AM stations made it into the Top 10 - WBEN-AM, which no doubt got a boost from the presidential election, and WGR, the all sports station which includes the Buffalo Bills games.
Interestingly, two HD only stations made the list - albeit at the very bottom. WLKK-FM2, a hot contemporary format, eked out a 0.3, while WBFO2, which plays adult alternative, came in at 0.2.

I think Stingray and Elmnt FM should become good friends.
Blocking WYRK makes it one less station for 93.5 to compete with.
Next step: Declare 88.5 to be an illegal GTA station. (It's supposed to be a Newmarket area station...)

That's where Star 102.5 is parked, which I believe was playing Christmas Music for most of this book.

Looks like WECK withdrew from the survey

I suspect 96.1 will jump to, or near, the top of the list when their Jingle Bells format is factored in. Also, where is WECK? It was always a middle of the pack station. Perhaps the station, for some reason, no longer subscribes to the Neilsen service.

They likely weren't really using them.
