U.S. Broadcaster Looks Forward To 1st Ever Game For Cdns. & Leaf Fans
His name is John Forslund and while he's been seen in Canada on American hockey broadcasts before, Monday night will be his first game addressed solely at those in the Great White North. He also notes that doing a Leaf game makes it extra special.
"For the past few years, Toronto Maple Leafs games have been called by either Chris Cuthbert from Sportsnet and Hockey Night in Canada, or Gord Miller on TSN. However, that’s set to change as John Forslund will handle play-by-play duties for the first of six games starting Monday when the Leafs face the Tampa Bay Lightning at Scotiabank Arena."

The Amazon stream will feature an unusual pre-game attraction - a virtual "you are there" segment from ScotiaBank Arena.
For 45 minutes before tonight’s matchup against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Prime Video, there will be a countdown livestream available entitled “Home Ice Access.” The feature will begin an hour before puck drop."
Viewers will be able to see fans arriving, things going on before the puck drops, tours of different areas of the stadium and the ability to watch pre-game warm-ups to simulate what it's like if you were actually there.

Thanks for the tip. It was interesting to see the players warming up plus closeup shots of many of the fans in their seats unaware of their appearance on camera. Oh and the announcing crew announced it Torono.
