It's called "Big [If True]" and it's designed to take a story in the news or online and dissect it to see if it's real, spin or just an outright falsehood. The new show is hosted by Molly Thomas, a former reporter for CTV and one time correspondent for W5.
The show "will take viewers on a journey through some of the most curious claims, heinous hoaxes, and outright lies circulating online. What’s real and what’s not? What’s fact and what’s fiction? And how do we know for sure?
With a seasoned line-up of experts committed to cutting through the noise, Molly will help viewers navigate falsehoods and reassess how to critically think about content."
It's been a while since there's been a series on TVO I'm actually looking forward to, but this one sounds very worthwhile. It debuts on its streaming TVO Today service on November 24th, but will also be broadcast on the main network.
And that's not just disinformation!

Encouraging. Anything to taper the raging stream of horseshit we're all being sprayed with is good.

Agreed, wholeheartedly. Now, can we get it on a network with a much larger reach?
