Just happened to notice Z103.5 has made changes to it's on-air schedule.
Jimmy T is now in Mornings, called The Rush with Jimmy T. He most recently did evenings. Sandra moves from the Morning show to Midday, and Tony Monaco moves from Midday to Evenings.

I just realized this today.
good for Jimmy T, he's got energy and enthusiasm.
Surprised that Tony Monaco doing nights and still on-air after all this time.
Website looks good.
Side note: I've done a lot of travel to the U.S. this month and listened to various stations in New york, Jersey, DC, Philly and Orlando, Las Vegas.
Some stations barely had any DJ chatter or interactions other than the morning show. Rest of the day seemed like a Juke box with Ads mixed in. WXXL and Z100, KLUC 98.5 were some I sampled. paul doyle pics
Re-enforced the feeling that FM is way past it's prime and AM is pretty much done. Good on CIDC for making the effort.

Also surprised that there is no Live to Air from a Club show on Z103.5 except Thursdays *(Friday 12am) midnight for one hour from Soluna and a Sunday afternoon 2 to 5pm LTA from Cabana
Was it not that long ago that there was LTA's on Thursday-sunday's, every night from about 10pm to 1 or 2am?
Has the club scene died down or is radio not worth it anymore for cost of advertising?

The problem with the Club scene is that LIVE Nation took over.
This, plus Condos eating up land where clubs once stood.
(ie Phoenix closing in January, to name one example...)

I don't mind the changes of Z103.5's schedule. However my mom does miss Jimmy T's 7 O'Clock Mental Block every evening. Now that Tony Monoco does evenings he does something similar to the 7 O'Clock Mental Block called The 7 O'Clock Survey. But I wish Tony Monoco would wait until the song is done before he can speak. Same with the hammer during the afternoon drive show as well. But other than that I don't mind at all.

I Stumbled on the station the other day and heard Monaco...it was the evening time. I felt a flashback of my college days. Unreal how all of the same staff is still going.

i suspect it has something more to do with the regulations around live or mixed content and canon, and less to do with the clubs them selves.

Why would this matter?
Most usually start (ed) at 10pm or later
Does Cancon really matter after 10pm?

It matters a lot between 10pm and midnight.
Club shows aren’t done anymore because people who go to clubs don’t listen to the radio.

That’s a good point

It's the radio that told them to go to those clubs though.

I'm sure more than a few young people cruising late at night would have heard a live club broadcast and decided to go for themselves. Problem is young people driving around late at night these days are unlikely to have FM on in their cars.

Have to agree. Most of my teenage nephews don't even know what the local stations are and these are the ones with cars who drive.
Where do they get their new music from? Friends, Celebs, Games, movies/streaming and they get their music/playlists instantly via Spotify or similar. Youtube Music etc.
Radio is slowly dying even FM.
I have a Model Y Tesla, fully connected car with unlimited audio streaming as well plus I have spotify playlists and A.I. DJs.
In my travels through major U.S. cities this summer, the only real show left is the morning show on various stations like WXXL Orlando, KLUC 98.5 Las Vegas and even many of the NYC stations. They might indicate there's a DJ for the 'afternoon drive' but really it's just automated music, commercial ads, some traffic and more music.

I forgot to mention TUNE IN which I also have an app for on the Tesla (All teslas).
From there there are hundreds of genres, locations and free audio radio stations both online only and real terrestrial radio including 94.7 KUMU from Honolulu (Gold R&B). KVEG 97.5 also free and streamable in Canada on there. Vibe 92 Miami and many more. Speaking of Vibe .. Vibe 105.5 (CHRY) and Flow 98.7 Toronto benefit from being on Tune In also (listen clearly and anywhere in Canada).
