Rogers Launches Taylor Swift Concert Contest On T.O. Radio Stations

They've somehow latched onto 35 pairs of tickets for the icon's upcoming concerts in Toronto and Vancouver in the fall, and will be giving them away on both its City TV stations and radio outlets CHFI, Kiss 92.5, Kiss 91.7 (Edmonton) and Star 95.9 (Calgary). They don't mention anything about airfare, so it would appear winners not in Toronto or Vancouver will be responsible for their own transportation. 

Oddly, given that some of the tickets will be for the B.C. shows, none of their Vancouver or Victoria stations seem to be included.

Phone clients can also enter via email. 

The nationwide contest will give out the first pair on August 20th and the giveaway won't end until Nov. 26th. With only 35 pairs to go, it sounds like it's going to be a long drawn out affair and they'll be milking it for all that it's worth.

They don't play her on their Vancouver stations. Victoria, they do.

Owinng the Toronto venue and the Vancouver venue's naming rights probably helps.

Swift had to cancel concerts in Vienna after terrorist threats. This may become the weapon of choice by these basstirds. Nothing will induce anguish to this amount  than Swifty fans getting shut down. Trying to be a little ' cute ' but obviously this is a serious issue.

When it comes to artist loyalty, it seems "Swifties" are this generation's "Deadheads"
