A little of this, that, and the other, on CHUM's Top 30 on May 18, 1974. A few memorable tunes and some not as much.

A year before I got married for the first time. I think I had begun the transition to listening to Buffalo's (automated) Rock-102 WBEN-FM at home, CKFH daytime and 'KB or WLS at night on the car's AM radio.
#1 - The Streak?? Damn, we had no taste.
#7 - Werewolf by the Five-Man Electircal Band - never heard it and it doesn't age well on YouTube.
#12 - I'm A Train - Albert Hammond - I really liked the song but I'm surprised it reached #12.
#20 - Just As Bad As You - Shawne Jackson - didn't know it was penned by Dominic Trioano
#23 - by Fludd - a follow-up to Cousin Mary? The band name is all I remember.
#25 - I always thought Billy Paul was a one-hit wonder with Me and Mrs Jones.
#26 - Bobby Womack - Kinda Muscle Shoals for CHUM's playlist.
#29 - Paul Anka song. Never heard it.

I was a full time FM listener at the time. CHUM FM and the Buffalo prog-type stations. I am familiar with a version of Looking for a Love by the J Geils Bands from earlier. I vaguely knew it was a R & B hit and just read that it was originaly recorded by the Valentino's of whom Bobby Womack was also a member.
