Re: NBC Releases Fall Schedule

At least my Chicago Wednesday and 2/3 of L&O Thursday remain intact.

Re: NBC Releases Fall Schedule

Actually, L&O Thursday isn't intact. L&O: Organized Crime is moving to Peacock in the fall. So unless City TV buys it and keeps it on free television here, you may have to subscribe to an alternate streamer to see it.

Re: NBC Releases Fall Schedule

Surprised that Lopez vs Lopez is on the fall schedule.  The show has been getting dismal ratings.  It is on Friday this fall which is not a strong night for NBC.  Likely the last chance for the series.

Re: NBC Releases Fall Schedule

Fox has revealed its plans for next season as well, including a Canadian originated production called "Murder In A Small Town."

But it's what's missing from its fall line-up that's making as much news as the newcomers.

I guess you missed the two thirds part of my comment.

I did. But I wonder if City will acquire it for Canada, since Peacock isn't available here. Which means you would get it all back.

Re: NBC Releases Fall Schedule

ABC has become the latest to unveil its fall schedule. Abbott Elementary is one of their biggest buzz shows and they're burying it in a 9:30 PM timeslot between two reality shows? I want some of what they're smoking. Sounds like most of the good stuff is being held for mid-season.

Re: NBC Releases Fall Schedule

I wonder if shows like Will Trent and The Rookie are being held back until January so that they can have an uninterrupted run of new episodes.

Your question is answered completely in this story.

Re: NBC Releases Fall Schedule

While the new fall broadcast TV season isn't the attraction it used to be, thanks to streaming, the networks are now previewing some of their latest shows to debut in September - and mid-season.

Here's where you can see the available trailers released so far for the newcomers and determine if they're something you might want to watch come September. Although some of them are less than revealing.
