Happy Belated Birthday to WNED
March 30, 1959 WNED signed on ch 17 for the first time, a mere six months after WBUF shut down after a less than successful two year UHF experiment as Buffalo's NBC affiliate. During this time, WGR was the ABC station for Western New York.
