The Beginning Is Near: Avalanche Of Delayed Fall Shows About To Arrive

Have a favourite show you haven't seen in months because of the writers and actors' strikes? The long delayed "new season" on both network and streaming services is coming fast, and it could fill up your DVR in a way that hasn't happened in a long time.

Here's the breakdown of when everything returns. The list is for the U.S. but with simsub, it's a safe bet that most Canadian stations will show them on the same night at the same time.

What's most interesting to me from a broadcast point of view is that NBC, ABC and Fox are all debuting a ton of stuff in mid-January. Most of CBS' shows are being delayed until after Sunday, Feb. 11th - the date of the Super Bowl. Expect a lot of hype about that during the game.

There are only 12 series I watch regularly. NBC-6, CBS-3, ABC-2. FOX-1. In Canada, CBC-2 [Corrie and Market Place] CTV/Global/CITY-0. Most of their schedules are filled with U.S. Simsubs.

I have to move January 30th, hopefully hooked back up to a yet to be determined service provider by February 1st. With on demand, I shouldn't miss anything.
