Mad magazine was a big thing for me as a teenager in the 70s, Fold Ins, Snappy Answers, Don Martin,(Pweet!), Spy vs. Spy and much more. It was the gateway magazine to National Lampoon for me and I wish I had kept a few issues of each. Thanks for sharing RadioActive!

There was also “Sick”, another humour magazine which I didn’t care for much, they had a knock off Alfred E. Neuman character which bugged me for some reason, bad design?

I was a pretty faithful Mad and Cracked reader back in the 70s. I don’t remember Sick, but I did occasionally pick up Crazy magazine. It was a pretty pale imitation of Mad and Cracked.




 

The Internet Archive has a ton of material from the vintage days of Mad Magazine. Here's one I've never seen that would certainly be of interest to some here: a satire of TV Guide from 1963. It was called "TV Guise" and purports to show you the new shows that are on "all weak."
