The Top 25 Testing Xmas Songs On Radio For 2023
Researchers asked listeners in the 18-54 demo about the most appealing Christmas songs they like on the radio. And surprise! There wasn't a Mariah Carey in the Top 25. (Although her "All I Want For Christmas" did come in at #26.)
Instead, number one was an oldie but a goodie - Jingle Bell Rock by Bobby Helms from 1957. Get ready to hear it and all the others ad nauseam between now and the end of December.
The survey also asked listeners my favourite question: when should Christmas music on the radio stop and the formats go back to normal? The answers and more can be found at the link below.

I suggest "I Believe in Father Christmas" by Greg Lake.
And speaking of Greg Lake, "Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24" by the TransSiberian Orchestra (mentioned above, and is a banger of a Christmas track) always bring to mind "I bet this is what it would sound like if Emerson, Lake, and Palmer did Christmas music."
