NFL Blowout Rule

I don't know what the official rule is regarding networks switching games in the 4:25 timeslot when a game outcome is no longer in doubt. This afternoon FOX had the DH game with 66% of the U.S. receiving the Chi/KC game. Most of the southern states gotĀ  the Dal/Arizona game. With KC up 41-0 early in the 3rd quarter, an announcement was made that the majority of the country would be switched to theĀ  Dal/Ariz game. I was watching on FOX 5 in N.Y. They switched immediately. I wondered if WUTV and KCPQ would switch as well. They may have. The Rogers simsub continued with Chi/KC. When networks make this type of switch only the home and visiting team affillliates are required to carry the blowout game until its conclusion. Rogers simsub police asleep at the wheel again.
