He was already responsible for the content of all Bell Media music radio stations before his departure.

CHUM has a music positioning problem. The ratings outside of the morning show are not in a good place. David may be just the right person to fix it.

Judging by its format it seems (to me) that its fine although repetitive playlist and they are trying with the "throwbacks" and todays hits. Whats the main issue just the ratings? They need to expand the playlist.

Expanding a playlist is the quickest way to lower ratings.
What's happened is that Kiss has usurped the position between Virgin and CHFI.
