Former CHUM-FM P.D. Coming Back To Take On All Bell Stations

His name is David Corey and he was responsible for a lot of what you heard on 104.5 FM from 2006-2017 - an 11-year run. Now he's back, but this time, he'll be taking responsibility for all Bell Media stations as something called the "Program Management Consultant," whatever that ends up being.

Think he'll be doing remote work from the US if I read the release properly.

He was already responsible for the content of all Bell Media music radio stations before his departure.

CHUM has a music positioning problem. The ratings outside of the morning show are not in a good place. David may be just the right person to fix it.

Judging by its format it seems (to me) that its fine although repetitive playlist and they are trying with the "throwbacks" and todays hits.  Whats the main issue just the ratings?  They need to expand the playlist.

Expanding a playlist is the quickest way to lower ratings.

What's happened is that Kiss has usurped the position between Virgin and CHFI.
