Stand Up For Cancer: How Will Simsub Work

This Saturday from 8pm-9pm Stand Up for Cancer airs on CBC, CTV, Global, CHCH and Yestv in Canada, and ABC, NBC,CBS and FOX in the U.S. Two exceptions locally, WIVB is airing a Bills preseason game while KING is doing the same thing with the Seahawks. WIVB will tape delay the program until 11:30pm. Any idea how the simsub will work? I might tune in just tune in out of curiosity.

I'm not sure this is a case for simsub since it's a charity and I don't think there are any commercials. Which means they'll all take it from the same source, the producers of the show, off the same satellite.

Last time I saw one of these, each Canadian network got an American one. Global on CBS, CTV on NBC, etc.

To RA's point, I don't know if that was was commercial-free, too.

Also Game TV will be airing the special too. But not CTV 2 it will air instead Forensic Factor. Like really CTV? You could not add that special to your CTV2 network? Especially OTA viewers in Windsor.

This was they get to say CTV supported the cause and still get a SimSub.

OTA viewers in Windsor will be well covered.
