Kitchener FM Has Remarkable History Of Consistency

It's interesting that the highly complimentary story about one of Corus' own never mentions the call letters - CJDV-FM- otherwise known on air as Dave Rocks. But those who've worked there are unique in a way because many have served on air for a very long time. And that's not something you see a lot of in rock radio anymore.

Kitchener radio station has now been rocking the airwaves for two decades

Re: Kitchener FM Has Remarkable History Of Consistency

The very talented Jeff Lumby was one of Dave FM's early morning personalities.  Jeff later moved to KFUN/Bounce FM with Angie Hill.  Angie is another rock and roll veteran with a long and successful career in the Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge/Guelph area.  She has handled the morning show with various co-host for years.  Jeff is currently semi retired and living the good life in France.

Here is a video of Jeff from 2008 when he was mornings on Dave.  Having a little fun with his father and one of the Kitchener Rangers..

Re: Kitchener FM Has Remarkable History Of Consistency

While travelling around the GTA, I usually get a mix of  Kitchener and Barrie on 107.5.
