Recently looking over the Nielsen Top Tens, I noticed that CBC's family drama Heartland continues to do very well in the US. The series has regularly been in the top ten for the past three years. For the week of June 5-11 the show was the 6th most overall streamed program in the US. The overall category takes into account original productions, acquired series and movies.
In Nielsen's acquired listing Heartland came in at #2, behind SWAT. The series is currently filming their 17th season and has surpassed 250 episodes.
I always expect either Murdoch Mysteries or Heartland could be picked up by one of the major US OTA networks if the writers strike continues. Family programming is still very popular.

CTV's Farming For Love is only scheduled in Canada. You would need a VPN to watch it in the US. Maybe if it is successful and picked up for a second season, somebody in the US might pick it up.

Fox Network in the U.S. already has a show called "Farmer Wants A Wife." I'm pretty sure with that title, it's almost the same thing as the Canadian one.

Apparently Farming For Love must be doing alright ratings wise. Just read that casting is underway for Season Two on CTV.
Farmer Wants a Wife ran on the CW network for one season in 2008 with eight episodes. Fox brought the series back this year with 11 in the series. Farmer Wants A Wife originally aired in the UK in 2001 on the ITV network.
This isn't the first time that the program has run in Canada. Bell's former V network (now Noovo) has produced their own French version for eleven seasons. L'amour est dans le pre (Love Is In The Meadow) had it's debut in 2011 and is still on the air in Quebec.
