Many around here, including moi, like to complain about Reshmi's constantly interrupting guests, and with good reason. It's extremely annoying. However, it must be pointed out that Alex Pierson on 640 is just as bad, or worse. I like her as a host on her own, but when she's sharing the mic with anyone else, they can't get a word in edgewise over her butting in and loudly talking over whatever they're trying to say. Hopefully, the 2 of them will never be paired up as co-hosts.

Why not? Can you imagine how funny it would be listening to the two divas trying to one up each other?
Years ago I worked with two women in an open concept office
The two would constantly try to show up the other one no matter what they were talking about.
When they were out of the room we -- both men and women would have a laugh, wondering what they would go about back and forth next.
It didn't matter what the subject was one had to show how their opinion was better.
This could have been a news story -- or just what was better for lunch today at the cafeteria.

To be fair, watching older men in broadcasting name drop, share delusions of grandeur and talk down to younger females is far more common in my experience than what you have described.
"I interviewed the Prime Minister."
Yeah, the one who has been dead for two decades. And a scrum isn't an interview.

When I first saw this headline, I thought it was dealing with the ESPN series of the same name hosted by Tony Kornheiser and Micheal Wilbon.
