Some here may remember Mark Russell, who became almost a caricature of himself by parodying politicians on his "Mark Russell Specials" for many years on Channel 17 and the PBS Network. The bow-tied satirist, who was born in Buffalo, passed away at his Washington D.C. home this week. He was 90.

Channel 17 will re-air one of Russell's most popular specials at 10 pm Wednesday, 6 pm Saturday and 2 pm Sunday, as a tribute to the Western New York native.
