All the major U.S. networks, along with CNN, MSNBC and Fox on cable, have gone full bore coverage with Trump's indictment in the Stormy Daniels case. I thought it was really interesting that WGRZ did not take the NBC special report coverage, and stayed with their own 5 PM newscast. WKBW took their ABC feed. I can't tell what WIVB did, since I can no longer receive it.
Of the Canadian stations, only Global led with it as breaking news at 6.
I wonder if the American networks will also interrupt Thursday night's primetime schedule if violence breaks out in the U.S. and what that will mean for Canadian simsub.
As Bette Davis once noted, "Fasten your seatbelts. It's going to be a bumpy night!"

So far NBC is airing Law & Order in full regular programming mode.

Without equal justice, applied to all (including former presidents), there is no America.
There are several more indictments to come.
The networks will have more eyeballs than they have in years.

Yeah, I'm guessing the chaos will now come when he arrives in court. Likely early next week. In the meantime, expect a field day on the cable all-newsers from the U.S., especially Fox, which has the nerve to use "News" in its title. Especially after this NBC exclusive:
Former Fox News producer Abby Grossberg calls the network a 'big corporate machine that destroys people'

34 FELONY counts. And, the potential for a host of other charges for this criminal defendant.
May the boil be lanced. May justice be done, as for everyman. May the spell be broken.
Make Lying Wrong Again.
On to Georgia and to Federal charges.

With all the big hullabaloo this afternoon with Mr. Trump and the US networks all interrupting with live coverage, interesting that the Canadian schedules didn't change. All the programming on CTV, Global, and City ran as usual this afternoon and with the programs and episodes that were originally scheduled.

NPR was the only outlet that pledged couth and moderation with their coverage. Why shovel more shit into the shitshow?

Interesting that MSNBC and NPR refused to take Trump's Florida speech at all. CNN started to cover it, but then cut away part way through it. I didn't see it, but I have to guess Fox aired the whole thing. ABC did start with it, but when Trump started making remarks about Joe Biden leading the country into WWIII, they cut him off.
According to MSNBC's Rachel Maddow:
“He’s just giving his normal list of grievances. We don’t consider that necessarily newsworthy and there is a cost to us as a news organization of knowingly broadcasting untrue things.”

Even if Trump is convicted of most/all of the charges against him, I can't see him being sent to places like San Quentin, Folsom or ADX Florence.

That's odd, I checked all four US OTA networks at the start of Trump's speech and none of them had it on. ABC must have cut in after he had started with little or no introduction or delayed it by 10 seconds or so. There was no simsub on ABC and NBC 8-9 last night. CNN let Trump ramble on for about 20 minutes then got out of it. He was really just rehashing everything that he usually talks about. Donald said almost nothing about what happened yesterday what I saw.
