Always good to see what's catching Dave Agar's notice on Twitter, I still miss hearing him on Newstalk 1010, especially at 5am., that's one heck of a story he's retweeted, wonder what happens at Fox next, sorry (not sorry) for the title of the thread.

ABC News did a story on their 6:30 national cast Monday night, complete with flashback tapes of some of the lies.
Very damning and as more and more comes out on this, unless the judge is completely biased, I can't see how Dominion can lose the case. The question to me is if the possible penalty Rupert Murdoch and Co. will have to pay will be enough to have any effect on the network - and how many appeals the verdict will be subject to.
Rupert Murdoch says Fox hosts 'endorsed' election claims, court filing says

I found this clip interesting about Murdoch's claim that it's not Red or Blue, it's Green ( meaning money) also a bit about Hannity being confronted about the stolen election lies:

The problem is that tRump's 'true believers' watch Faux News exclusively, one of the few places where the truth, as spoken by the company's owner, is NOT being revealed.
If anyone tells them about the truth, as admitted by Rupert Murdoch, care to guess their response? Unless Fox says it, it's "FAKE NEWS". Sadly, once a person falls hook, line and sinker for a cult, it's not easy to wake them up.

How can Fox viewers not be embarrassed on how Fox itself has knowingly played them for fools with their outright lies & disrespect?
It's bad enough to be duped but have the integrity & fortitude to admit it once known; it's much worse to now know you've been duped but double-down & still cling to the BS.

They don't believe the reports about Fox and it's duplicity. As DW said, to them it's all "Fake News".

Yup and to the people who only believe the right wing echo chamber even a seemingly neutral outlet like NPR which broadcasts the facts is branded a part of the left wing media elite b/c those same facts do not fit with their narrative. Hear no evil, see no evil. Glorious and oblivious.

For this niche, Fox News merely joins the cabal, the enemy they love to hate and loathe... Fox gets spat out faster than their adherents can chew...

As if to prove your points, there's this from the New York Times. It's small wonder they never abandon the network. They don't hear about its duplicity because for many, it's all they watch.
Conservative Media Pay Little Attention to Revelations About Fox News

Dave Agar is a newsman, a legendary one. It's my belief that all newsmen are watching this case with interest as there is so much at stake, and it's not just money. I'm not a lawyer so my theory may not hold water, but I believe Fox has not agreed on a settlement for a very simple reason. Dominion Voting Machines are quite likely to demand that Fox air any apology that is agreed upon , most likely for an extended period of time. Fox is more likely to take their chances on the legal case than admit to any wrongdoing on air. Why? Because such an admission would probably cost them a lot more than whatever judgement is made against them.

In an addition to Chrisphen's audio post from NPR, here's an NPR article, and it includes the unsurprising and self-serving view from Fox News that if they lose the defamation suit and are found guilty, it will hurt all media and the way news is reported.

Things keep getting seemingly worse for Fox now the NY Times is reporting a leaked Zoom Call which occurred after their Arizona call. Who leaked the call is unknown. Truth sometimes is stranger than fiction:

Q: Who's unsurprised by shocking Fox News revelations? A: Ex-Fox journalists

Not to bring this up again, but I admit I'd never heard of this - another similar lawsuit against Fox News brought by an entirely different company. And they're asking for even more if they win the case.
"Smartmatic, a global election technology company headquartered in London, lodged its defamation suit in February 2021. “The Earth is round,” was the complaint’s striking opening sentence. “Two plus two equals four. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris won the 2020 election …"
"The complaint goes on to argue that, contrary to these indisputable facts, Fox News broadcast a series of blatant lies in support of Trump’s stolen election conspiracy theory. “Defendants did not want Biden to win the election. They wanted President Trump to win re-election … "
"To prop up that story, the lawsuit claims, Fox needed a villain. That villain was Smartmatic."

21% of Fox News Viewers Trust Network Less After Texts Revealed in Dominion Lawsuit: Survey
Only 21%??? That's pretty disappointing, considered how damning the revelations about the outright lying have been.

yes, disappointing .. stunning actually .. they're delusional but they have the audacity to call others "sheeple" (◔_◔) ..

21% is actually pretty good considering most Fox viewers watch only right wing content, and none of them are reporting on this, for good reason. If they tell their audience what's going on, they might start doing dangerous things. Like thinking.

If you're on Twitter(as I am...a LOT), Agar is worth following. I'd argue he's similar to John Beard(who worked...well, EVERYWHERE; he had stints in Buffalo(News 4 in the late 70s-early 80s, and then Channel 2 where did co-anchored Daybreak)in that they both regularly post news stories from other outlets.
