Toronto Jeopardy Champ Has A "Set" Connection With Canadian Television

He's a winner both on and off the screen.

"Ray LaLonde’s skills as a scenic painter have seen him work on many art department sets, including the popular Hulu television drama The Handmaid’s Tale, which films in Toronto.

He’s also worked on the Canadian space adventure drama series Killjoys, the TV movie Christmas Ever After, and the Canadian French language medical drama series Trauma.

“I work for TV shows and movies, and basically do the art work on sets,” LaLonde told TBS News Watch. “In construction for TV, you’re building everything out of plywood and have to make everything look like the real thing. Like it’s a brick wall, a stone wall or marble, anything like that. It’s all fake. That’s what I do.”

His knowledge of many differing topics, however, is very real.

Timing is everything!

I'm assuming he'll be asked back for one of those Tournaments of Champions.

He’s automatically invited as he has won at least 5 games.
