Without ESPN baseball commitments, Dan Shulman confirms he'll be the voice of the Blue Jays for Sportsnet TV in the coming season, doing all 81 home games. But he'll only be on the road for some of the away series, and with Pat Tabler gone and Buck Martinez unsure about his own return, like the Blue Jays pitching staff, questions remain about who will fill those holes in the rotation.
Dan Shulman discusses Blue Jays broadcast plans for next season

I think we will see a lot of Caleb Joseph in the booth. He was good when he was on radio last season. Also if Hazel is with the team for all 162 then that can free up Shi Davidi to join the broadcast team. Also there is potential to have a new hire or someone move up within Rogers to help out.

Can either of them do play-by-play if Shulman's not there? Who would take his place on the away games when he's not around (if Buck does not return?) Or perhaps Ben Wagner gets the TV call and his son takes over the radio duties as he did earlier this year.

When a radio guy does TV play-by-play there's always too much talk about what is being shown on the screen. Not necessary.

Vin Scully's call of the limping Kirk Gibson's dramatic game-winning home run in the 9th inning of Game One of the World Series in 1988 still sends chills up my spine.
The line I will never forget, after he had the wisdom to allow nothing but the sound of the crowd cheering without saying a word for well over a minute, is this one:
"In a year that has been so improbable, the impossible has happened."
A perfect summation and there's no way he could have planned it in advance. Scully was truly one of a kind.
The dramatic part starts around the 6:30 mark if you want to hear one of the best who ever sat behind a baseball mic.

I’d like to hear Dan Shulman and Joe Siddall do the broadcast. Seems to me I heard them do it
together one night and really enjoyed it.
